Privacy
No accounts, no newsletter, no analytics script. One page sends a ZIP code or a set of coordinates to two outside services when you ask it to, and this page says exactly what that is.
What we collect
Nothing directly. The site has no user accounts, no comment system, no newsletter form, and no analytics or advertising script on the date above. It sets no cookies of its own, and nothing you type reaches us.
The one page that talks to outside services
The spray-today weather check has a text box. Type a ZIP code and it goes to Zippopotam.us, which returns a place name and coordinates. Type a place name instead and it goes to the Open-Meteo geocoding service, which returns coordinates the same way. The resulting coordinates then go to Open-Meteo to fetch the temperature and humidity forecast. If you press the button that uses your device location, your browser asks your permission first, and the coordinates it returns go to Open-Meteo in the same way. Those requests go from your browser straight to those two services and never pass through us; each is governed by its own privacy policy, linked above. We keep none of it, and the rest of the calculators on this site work entirely in your browser.
What the host collects
The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes the request data a browser sends, such as an IP address, a user agent and the page requested, and its handling of that is governed by Cloudflare's privacy policy rather than by us. We have not enabled Cloudflare's analytics on this site, and we do not build reader profiles from anything the platform makes available.
Outbound links
When you follow a link to Amazon, Walmart, a brand store or any other site, that site's privacy policy applies. Our links carry no tracking parameters on the date above. When Amazon affiliate links go live, the links will carry an Amazon tag that tells Amazon the visit came from this site; Amazon's cookie and privacy practices then apply. This page and the ownership page will be updated on that day.
Submissions
If you send us documents or a correction, we keep what you send for as long as the related record exists, use it only for that record, and do not share it with anyone other than to cite a document you gave us permission to cite.
Children
The site is not directed at children and collects nothing from anyone.
