Who publishes this site
Best Spray Foam is an independent publication. It is not owned, funded, staffed, supplied or controlled by any manufacturer, distributor or seller of the products it covers, and no such company has a say in what is published. The publisher also owns Spray Foam Guides, an education site about the same subject; the two share an owner and an editorial position and link to each other, and each says so where it links.
What we earn today
Nothing. On the date above the site carries no advertising, no sponsorship, no paid placement and no affiliate links. Every outbound Amazon, Walmart and brand-store link is a plain link with no tracking tag.
What we plan to earn, and how you will know
We intend to join the Amazon Associates program. When that application is approved, Amazon links on this site will carry an affiliate tag and we will earn a fee on qualifying purchases at no cost to the buyer. On that day: this page will state it, the site footer will carry a one-line disclosure, and each page with affiliate links will say so near the links. Affiliate income will not change which products are covered, how they are ordered or what is said about them: the order on every page is set by documented evidence and printed with its reasons. Commission rates differ by product category and can change, so we will not pretend the fee is identical whichever product you pick. What we will do is keep the ordering rule public and mechanical, so that any effect of a rate difference would be visible in the criteria rather than hidden in a judgment.
Our position toward the brands
We have no commercial, advisory, supply or ownership relationship with any brand on this site. We have not received free product from any of them. We rank Kraken Bond, Sprayman, Akfix, Stanley, BEEST, DuPont, Loctite, DAP, TYTAN, Vega Bond, HandiFoam and the rest by the same rules, and we say the same kind of thing about each when the documents say the same kind of thing.
One point of possible confusion is worth stating plainly. This site is called Best Spray Foam and lives at beestsprayfoam.com. One of the products it covers is sold under the brand name BEEST. The resemblance is a coincidence of names. Best Spray Foam is not affiliated with, owned by, or sponsored by BEEST or its seller, and BEEST products are judged by exactly the rules applied to every other product here.
Conflicts we would disclose
If we ever accept a product sample, a sponsorship, a paid comparison, consulting work or any other material connection with a company we cover, the connection will be disclosed on every page where that company appears, next to the recommendation, in the way the FTC endorsement guides ask for. A company-controlled review site presented as independent is the thing the FTC warns against; this is not one, and if that ever changed, the site would say so or stop.
